The New York Mets look to win their weekend series against the Atlanta Braves on Sunday afternoon at 1:35 p.m. ET at Turner Field. Atlanta, which has clinched a playoff spot, won last night, 2-0, on a solid outing from Mike Minor (11-10, 4.12 ERA), who pitched 6⅓ scoreless innings, giving up just three hits and striking out four.

The Mets were unable to produce anything offensively, whereas the Braves scored a run each in the bottom of the first and fifth innings. Chris Young (4-9, 4.15 ERA) earned the loss for New York.

Kris Medlen (9-1, 1.64 ERA) will get the start for Atlanta tonight, who will have his club on the cusp of breaking a MLB record this afternoon. The Braves have won the last 22 games started by Melden, tying the current record. Medlen will face New York righty Jenrry Mejia (1-1, 4.91 ERA), who earned his first big-league victory this past Monday after five innings of shutout ball against Pittsburgh.

The game will be televised on WPIX in New York and on FSS in Atlanta.
