A pair of 2-1 teams square off Sunday as the San Francisco 49ers travel east to take on the New York Jets at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, NJ.

The Jets are coming off a 23-20 overtime win against the Dolphins last week. What had looked like a potential game-winning field goal in overtime was blocked by the Dolphins, but a timeout was called just before the snap and Nick Folk hit the game winner in his reprieve. Mark Sanchez had his second straight underwhelming performance, passing for 306 yards, but on only 21/45 with two interceptions to his single touchdown. It was also a costly win for the Jets as Darrelle Revis was lost for the season with a knee injury.

San Francisco is coming off a surprising loss to Minnesota in Minneapolis last Sunday. The 49ers were unable to get their running game going against the Vikings, mounting only 89 yards on 20 rushing attempts last weekend. San Francisco will have to do significantly better than that against a Jets defense that allowed 185 yards on the ground to Miami.

San Francisco is a three-point favorite. The game is scheduled for 1 p.m. ET, and FOX will have the broadcast.
