Toronto Vs. New York halftime update: Red Bulls Lead 2-1

The New York Red Bulls are leading 2-1 over Toronto FC after the first half on Saturday night in Red Bull Arena.

New York has played a beautiful game offensively and found the back of the net twice with goals from Markus Holgersson in the 13th minute and Kenny Cooper in the 27th.

The lone marker by FC came off the foot of Ryan Johnson six minutes into the contest, which gave Toronto a short-lived 1-0 advantage.

The Red Bulls have spent a majority of the affair in attack-mode, playing with a seemingly endless amount of confidence. New York has already fired 10 shots, putting three of them on frame to test Freddy Hall.

Toronto has attempted just six shots but only had one on target, however making it count.

The game has been very clean on both sides thus far, with not one yellow or red card being handed out.
