Jets cornerback Darrelle Revis left Sunday's game against the Dolphins with an apparent knee injury, another blow to a Jets season that has already taken a couple of turns for the worse.
Revis went down untouched on a play in the third quarter of the Jets' contest, and he clutched his knee in agony while on the turf at Sun Life Stadium. He would leave the field on a cart, presumably to be X-rayed.
Bob Glauber of New York's Newsday tweeted:
Darrelle Revis (left knee) leaves field on cart, presumably to get X-rays.
And also:
Darrelle Revis is done for the day. Will not return (knee).
Revis exited the game with the score tied, 10-all. He intercepted a pass in the Jets' season opener against the Bills, and has been a cornerstone of Rex Ryan's defense during Ryan's time as the Jets' head coach.
