Jets vs. Dolphins 2012: Game Preview, Kickoff Time, TV Schedule And More

Two AFC East rivals square off with the division lead on the line in Miami Gardens today, as the New York Jets travel to face the Miami Dolphins at 1:00 p.m. ET Sunday on CBS. The Jets will hope to rebound from last week's 27-10 loss against the Pittsburgh Steelers, in which Gang Green could only amass 219 total offensive yards. To do so, they will need to beat a Miami team led by the surprisingly resurgent Reggie Bush, who rushed for 172 yards and two touchdowns last weekend in a 35-13 victory over Oakland.

While Miami may have a distinct advantage rushing the ball, averaging 67 more rushing yards a game than New York, the Jets certainly have an advantage at quarterback. Mark Sanchez has demonstrated why he beat out Tim Tebow for New York's starting job this season, throwing for 404 yards, four touchdowns, and one interception through two weeks.

Miami's Ryan Tannehill, a rookie first-round draft pick out of Texas A&M, has passed for 419 yards through two games, but has only thrown one touchdown against three interceptions. He has also rushed for another touchdown. Expect Miami to lean on its defense and rushing game if they are to earn the win against the Jets.

Location: Sun Life Stadium, Miami Gardens, Florida
