Red Bulls Vs. New England Revolution: Preview, Kickoff Time, TV Schedule, Streaming And More

The New York Red Bulls take on the New England Revolution Saturday, but much of the attention surrounding the game will be devoted to one man who won't be on the pitch — Thierry Henry. The Red Bulls star was suspended by the MLS for just Saturday night's game for allegedly head-butting Sporting KC forward Kei Kamara in the 93rd minute of their match Sept. 19.

Reached for comment by the Associated Press, here's what Red Bulls head coach Hans Backe had to say about the suspension:

"I haven't looked into that specific situation, I just saw it from the bench, so I can't really comment. But it's probably something with a kind of head butting, and we just have to accept that."

The AP also reported Backe said he was planning on benching Henry for the game regardless because of the Revolution's turf, in an attempt to save his star striker from injury before the playoffs, but who knows if that was just gamesmanship or if it was the truth.

Game Date: Saturday, Sept. 22

Kickoff Time: 7:30 p.m. ET

TV: MSG
