Battling injuries, a lack of consistency, and time to prepare for their opponents, the New York Giants meet the Carolina Panthers on Thursday Night Football.

On the road and playing without starting running back Ahmad Bradshaw, center David Diehl, and wide receiver Hakeem Nicks, the Giants are not getting a lot of love from the media. The upstart Panthers look to take advantage of a depleted New York offense and sling the ball with Cam Newton under center.

Between ESPN, Yahoo! Sports and CBS Sports, mostly favor the Panthers to win this game.

Can Victor Cruz step up as the team's No. 1 receiver with Nicks out? Will inexperienced playmakers like Ramses Barden, Reuben Randle and Andre Brown serve as suitable weapons for Eli Manning?

The Giants, as we've all come to learn, seem to play their best when you least expect them to. The odds are stacked against them, but it's a game that will certainly test their mettle.
