The Mets look to continue their winning ways against the Marlins on Sunday, as New York's Chris Young (3-7, 4.64 ERA) will take the mound against Miami's Mark Buehrle (12-11, 3.62 ERA) in hopes for a Mets sweep.
During yesterday's game, the Mets rallied from a two-run deficit with a four run top of the ninth, handing the loss and blown save to Miami's Steve Cishek. Until that point, New York had no answer for Marlins ace Josh Johnson, who pitched eight full innings of baseball, giving up three hits and an earned run. Lucas Duda began the Mets rally in the eigth with an RBI single before Kelly Shoppach cleared the bases to add three more runs in the inning.
New York won 5-3.
Chris Young's last outing for the Mets was not a good one, as the Phillies earned five runs off of him in just over four innings. New York may still have concerns with Young's shoulder, as this is his first season back from surgery.
The game will begin at 1:10 p.m. ET in Miami's Marlins Park, and will be televised by SNY in New York and FS-F HD in Florida.
