Jets-Dolphins Odds: New York Favored By Three

The New York Jets travel to Miami to take on the Dolphins as 3-point favorites. The line opened at 3 and has moved little since then. Some sportsbooks have the Jets as 2.5-point favorites, but most all have kept the line at 3. The total for the game is 40 points.

Both teams are 1-1 in the standings and 1-1 against the spread, and neither team has played a close game yet this season. The Jets opened their season with a convincing win in Buffalo, but failed to cover as 4.5-point underdogs in Pittsburgh, losing 27-10. New York's offense was impressive in the opener, going for 384 yards, but was limited to just 219 yards against the Steelers.

The Dolphins have a similar story, but in reverse. Miami got manhandled by the Texans in Week 1, but won outright against Oakland as 1.5-point underdogs by the score of 35-13. The Dolphins managed 275 yards of offense against Houston, but turned the ball over four times; against the Raiders they went for 452 yards with zero turnovers.

Finding out which offense will show up for both these teams will have to wait until 1 p.m. Sunday.
