The Rutgers Scarlet Knights are receiving votes for the first time this season in the Week 4 AP college football Top 25. Rutgers received 19 votes in the rankings after moving to 3-0 with a 23-13 victory over South Florida on Thursday.
The Louisville Cardinals are the only Big East team to appear in the rankings in Week 4. They check in at No. 20.
Alabama remains on top of the poll after a 52-0 win over Arkansas on Saturday. LSU moves up to the second spot after the USC Trojans fell to Stanford on Saturday night. The Cardinal rose twelve spots up to No. 9, while the Trojans fell back to No. 13.
Rutgers will try to win their way into the polls when they travel to Arkansas to face the Razorbacks at 7 p.m. ET on Saturday.
