Tim Tebow Denies He Will Ask For Trade From Jets

New York Jets quarterback Tim Tebow denied a report that said he would ask the team for a trade following the 2012 season.

The third-year quarterback stated that the possibility of his requesting a trade is as true as saying that he lives in Hoboken, New Jersey (because he doesn't live there and went on to say that there is nothing wrong with living there).

According to the report published by The Daily News on Thursday, an NFL source stated that Tebow would likely not be content as a backup quarterback and would be interested in being given a chance to start somewhere else. As of this time, the Jets have stated that they plan to use Tebow in the wildcat formation in addition to handling the role of backup to Mark Sanchez.

In the Jets' dominating win against the Buffalo Bills in Week 1, Tebow only took nine snaps from center.
