After one week of play in the 2012 NFL season it is really impossible to tell which teams are really good and which are really bad. Yet, everyone does Power Rankings, anyway. Here, we have aggregated some of the opinions about the New York Giants and New York Jets being shared around the Inter-Google.

SB Nation -- Giants No. 6; Jets No. 12

The Giants are still ahead of the Jets here, and SB Nation's Joel Thorman says "still cautious about the Jets, but I'm preparing to be wrong."

CBS Sports -- Giants No. 13; Jets No. 17

FOX Sports -- Giants No. 9; Jets No. 17

ESPN -- Giants No. 7; Jets No. 17

Pro Football Talk -- Giants No. 7; Jets No. 16

National Football Post -- Giants No. 7; Jets No. 15

You can draw a couple of conclusions from these. In terms of the defending champion Giants, a season-opening loss to Dallas has everyone concerned, but not willing to sell entirely yet. As for the Jets, a 48-point outburst in the season-opening game against a Buffalo team that was supposed to be improved defensively has gotten people's attention, but most aren't ready to go all-in with Gang Green just yet.
