The United States scored another impressive haul Thursday, winning 10 medals to expand its lead to 90-80 over China in the overall medal count at the 2012 Summer Olympics in London. A win in women's soccer highlighted the day, as did 1-2 performances in the men's triple jump and men's decathlon. Claressa Shields also became the first American female boxer to ever win a gold medal, winning the 75 kg division.
