Mets Vs. Marlins Final Score: New York Ends Losing Streak At Citi Field, 6-1

After being embarrassed by the Miami Marlins at Citi Field on Wednesday, the Mets redeemed themselves with a 6-1 victory on Thursday. Miami still takes two out of the three-game series, but at least they responded to losing 13-0.

R.A. Dickey (2.72 ERA) pitched a complete game in this one, which extends his win record for the season to 15. That leads the National League. Dickey gave up five hits, struck out 10 and didn't walk anyone. The lone run he allowed was a home run to Justin Ruggiano in the fourth inning.

Andres Torres was responsible for the go-ahead run for the Mets while going 3-for-3 with a home run, double and triple. All three hits drove in a run.
