Yankees Vs. Tigers: Bombers Looking For Two In A Row

The New York Yankees and the Detroit Tigers wrap up a four-game set with a Thursday matinee. Former Tiger Curtis Granderson powered the Yankees to a win on Wednesday night with a three-run homer, after the Bombers lost the first two games of the series.

On the mound for the Yankees is the quietly dominant Hiroki Kuroda. Over his last four starts, Kuroda has allowed just four runs and owns a 2-1 record during that stretch. He is 3-0 with a 2.94 ERA in his last five road starts.

Equally effective in his most recent outings is Detroit starter Doug Fister. He is coming off a complete game win over the Indians in his last outing and has a 5-1 record with a 2.20 ERA since July 7. He has three straight wins at Comerica Park.

The game starts at 1:05 p.m. ET and can be seen on the YES Network.
