The 2012 PGA Championship starts Thursday morning, the last major golf tournament of the year. Play gets underway bright and early in the morning, with the first tee time set for 7:20 a.m. on the Ocean Course at Kiawah Island in South Carolina.
Tiger Woods starts the weekend as the favorite, sitting at 8/1 in the odds. That puts him ahead of Keegan Bradley who won the tournament last year and is coming off a win at the WGC-Bridgestone. Woods and Bradley are grouped along with Martin Kaymer. Kelly Mitchum, D.A. Points, and Marcel Siem are the first out of the gate on Thursday.
The TNT Network will have live coverage of the first round from 1-7 p.m. Eastern on Thursday. Coverage of the headline groups is available via online streaming from PGA.com.
