Amare Stoudemire of the New York Knicks went all out for his marriage proposal. He tucked the ring in his belt and took his fiance out for a romantic dinner with accompanying musicians on a Paris balcony, with a glowing Eiffel Tower as the back drop for popping the question.
Perfect, right?
It was so perfect, in fact, that Stoudemire decided to share the moment with the entire world. He filmed the whole thing, uploading it to YouTube, setting an impossibly high standard for any other ordinary schlub with a ring.
He also went back and narrated the whole thing, dubbing in a play-by-play giving it an "Ultimate Proposal" reality show, if such a show exists.
Alexis, his finance, did not seem to mind the show.
