After dropping their third game in four tries, the New York Mets return to the field Wednesday as they host the Miami Marlins in Game 2 of a three-game series at Citi Field (7:10 p.m. ET on SNY). Lefty Chris Young (3-5) will take the mound for the Mets, who will face the Marlins' Nathan Eovaldi (1-1) for the third time this season.
On Tuesday, the Mets allowed the Marlins to score four runs in the fourth inning as they went on to lose 4-2. Young will try and help New York (53-57) get back on track and follow-up on a solid performance -- seven innings of one-run ball -- against the Giants.
Meanwhile, former Mets shortstop Jose Reyes will enter the contest with a 24-game hit streak. Currently, the mark is a career high for Reyes and it leads the majors.
