2012 London Olympics Recap: Aly Raisman Give Teams USA Only Gold Tuesday

The United States took home seven medals Tuesday at the 2012 Summer Olympics in London, but just one gold. Aly Raisman won the women's gymnastics floor exercise and took bronze on the balance beam to account for two of Team USA's medals.

The United States finished 2-3-4 in the women's 100-meter hurdles. Dawn Harper and Kellie Wells won hardware and set personal bests in the process. Australia's Sally Pearson set an Olympic record, crossing the finish line at 12.35 seconds for the gold medal. Lolo Jones took fourth, 0.1 seconds behind Wells.

Team USA won two more medals in track and field. Leo Manzano became the first American to ever medal in the men's 1,500-meter event, taking silver behind Algeria's Taoufik Makhloufi. Erik Kynard won another silver medal for the United States, finishing behind Russia's Ivan Ukhov in the men's high jump.

Sarah Hammer won the United States its seventh medal with a silver medal performance in the women's omnium. Australia's Anna Meares won the event.
