In just two days, golf's final major of the season -- the PGA Championship -- will begin and as no surprise Tiger Woods will step on the first tee at the Kiawah Island Golf Resort in South Carolina as the favorite to win the crown. Woods, a four-time winner of the event, is a 7-4 favorite to win the tournament, according to oddsmakers at Bovada.
The second-best bet is Northern Ireland's Rory McIlroy and England's Luke Donald, who both have 10-3 odds to win.
Meanwhile, one of Woods' playing partners and the PGA Championship's defending champion, Keegan Bradley, is a 8-1 favorite. Bradley, the St. John's University graduate, is coming off a victory last Sunday at the Firestone CC.
Local golfers -- Rumson, N.J., resident Brain Gaffney (150-1), Purchase, NY resident Frank Bensel (150-1) and Lake Success, NY resident Matt Dobyns -- all have 150-1 odds of winning the event.
