On Tuesday, the 2012 Summer Olympics continue on with a flurry of finals in high-drama events.
The afternoon will be star-studded with many track and field athletes competing for gold, while the gymnasts look to find their footing on the medal stand as well.
The track and field finals are below:
2 p.m. ET - Men's High Jump
2:45 p.m. ET - Men's Discus Throw
4 p.m. ET - Women's 100m Hurdles
4:15 p.m. ET - Men's 1500m
For gymnastics:
9 a.m. ET - Men's Parallel Bars
9:47 a.m. ET - Women's Balance Beam
10:37 a.m. ET - Men's Horizontal Bar
11:23 a.m. ET - Women's Floor Exercise
Other finals include sailing, with the Men's and Women's RS-X races getting underway at 8 and 9 a.m. ET respectively.
Plenty of New York locals are involved on the U.S.A. sailing teams, including Amanda Clark (Southamption), Debbie Capozzie (Smithtown), Erik Storck (Huntington), and Rob Crane (Stamford, CT).
