The United States men's four rowing team won the bronze medal in the 2012 Olympic Game at Dorney Lake in Windsor, England.
The team of Glenn Ochal, Pittsford, NY's, Henrik Rummel, New York, NY's, Charlie Cole and Scott Gault finished the 2000-meter course in 6:07.20, almost four seconds behind gold medal winners Great Britain who won their fourth straight gold medal in the event with a time of in 6:03.97. Australia was awarded the silver with a time of 6:05.19.
The United States started off the first 500 meters in third place over two seconds behind the British, and the U.S. were only able to make a short charge from the 1000 meter mark to the 1500 meter mark, but Team GB were able to pull away and take the gold.
