The New York Jets have taken another step in meeting the required 53-man roster limit on Friday, when the club executed additional roster moves to bring the total amount of players to 61. The Jets have until Friday night at 9 p.m., ET to cut that number down further to 53.
According to the Jets' official twitter account, the team waived the following players on Friday afternoon:
- Joseph Collins, Wide Receiver
- Marcus Dowtin, Line Backer
- Robert Griffin, Tackle
- Frederick Koloto, Guard
- Matt Kroul, Center
- Spencer Lanning, Punter
- LeQuan Lewis, Defensive Back
- Tarren Llyod, Tight End
- D'Anton Lynn, Safety
- Julian Posey, Defensive Back
- Jay Richardson, Defensive End
- Eron Riley, Wide Receiver
- Brett Roy, Line Backer
- Martin Tevaseu, Nose Tackle.
