New York Giants wide receiver Hakeem Nicks said on Monday that he is preparing to play against the New England Patriots in the team's final preseason game on Wednesday night. Nicks has yet to play in the preseason after breaking the fifth metatarsal in his right foot in May.
Via ESPN New York:
"As of right now, I was told I was gonna take some snaps," said Nicks, who added that he began to feel 100 percent in Sunday's practice, "but if they decide to change (their minds), I'm sure they'll let me know, and whatever decision they make, I'm gonna roll with it."
Coach Tom Coughlin was less definite, electing to take his time before making a final decision on whether the 24-year-old receiver will participate in the game.
