Yankees Vs. Indians Final Score: New York Loses To Cleveland, 3-1

The Yankees fell to the Indians on Saturday night in the second game of their three-game weekend series, 3-1. This game was tense for the most part, with the only runs coming in the first and sixth innings.

Michael Brantley hit a three-run homer in the first inning to give the Indians a 3-0 lead and the Yankees never threatened. Their lone run came on a sacrifice fly by Mark Teixeira in the sixth inning, which plated Derek Jeter. Other than that, New York recorded seven hits, which was more than the Indians' four, but not enough to produce runs.

Justin Masterson was the winning pitcher for Cleveland, while Hiroki Kuroda was hit with the loss for the Yankees.
