2012 Barclays: Sergio Garcia and Nick Watney Tied Atop The Leaderboard

Sergio Garcia and Nick Watney are tied for the lead after two days at the 2012 Barclays in Farmingdale, New York. Garcia shot a 3-under 68 while Watney went for a 2-under 69 on Friday are they are 8-under after 36 holes. Vijay Singh and Bob Estes are both one shot off the lead as they each made a charge, shooting 67 and 66 respectively.

Tiger Woods battled through apparent back pain to shoot a 2-under 69 and stay within striking distance at 5-under and tied for 8th. Rory McIlroy was not as successful. He finished with a 73 on the day and is right at the cut line of even for the tournament. New York native John Huh is four shots off the leaders.

The Barclays is part of the FedEx Cup, the PGA's playoff to end the season. Tiger Woods led those standings coming into The Barclays and looks to be in position to extend his lead headed into the weekend.
