Carmelo Anthony: Knicks Star Talks About Raymond Felton, Amare Stoudemire

New York Knicks forward Carmelo Anthony took some time to talk about his teammates Raymond Felton and Amar'e Stoudemire this past week. In a story for ESPNNewYork.com. Anthony touched on his life-long relationship with Felton and his feelings about what Stoudemire brings in the post.

Regarding Felton, Anthony believes he will play better in his second stop with the Knicks because he is determined to silence his doubters:

"He wants to prove everyone wrong," Anthony said. "He loves to win."

Anthony was asked about Stoudemire's post-up abilities, an aspect that has been oft-criticized during his NBA career. Stoudemire spent time this summer working with Hakeem Olajuwon. Anthony says he hasn't seen Amar'e's new talents at work, but is excited for what he can bring to the table this season.

"I'm waiting to see what he has added to his arsenal," he said. "I'm excited for the fact that he went down there and started working with the Dream, so that's a big step forward."

The Knicks have made a number of offseason moves and hope to be vastly improved in the 2012-13 campaign. It appears that the work the front office has done over the summer has succeeded in keeping their superstar happy.
