Alpha, the Jim Dandy winner, was given 5-2 morning line odds -- the best in the field -- Thursday as the 11-horse field for the Travers Stakes at Saratoga Race Course was finalized. The post time for Saturday's race is 5:46 p.m. ET and the race will be a part of a two-hour broadcast for NBC.
Alpha edged Nonios (4-1) and Neck'n Neck (9-2) who earned the second and third best odds, respectively. Street Life, winner of the Curlin Stakes at Saratoga earlier in the meet, earned a 5-1 line.
