Mets Vs. Rockies Preview: Game Time, TV Schedule, Probable Pitchers

The New York Mets are hoping to salvage one game in their four-game series against the Colorado Rockies. After dropping Wednesday's game, 5-2, the Mets turn to Collin McHugh in his MLB debut.

McHugh is taking the spot in the rotation left vacant by Johan Santana after the Mets shut him down for the remainder of the 2012 season due to inflammation in his lower back. While pitching for the Triple-A Buffalo Bisons of the International League, he went 2-4 with a 3.39 ERA in 12 starts.

The Rockies will send pitcher Tyler Chatwood (3-3, 5.46 ERA) to the mound. In his last start on Aug. 18 against the Miami Marlins, he went four innings, allowing six runs on nine hits.

The game is scheduled for a 1:10 p.m. start from Citi Field. Television coverage will be provided by SNY with radio coverage provided by WFAN 660 AM.
