Amar'e Stoudemire: Work With Hakeem Olajuwon A 'Great Advantage'

Amar'e Stoudemire of the New York Knicks believes that his work with basketball legend Hakeem Olajuwon will show great dividends in the upcoming season.

Knicks head coach Mike Woodson called Olajuwon to see if he could help Stoudemire improve his post game. Olajuwon has worked with Dwight Howard, LeBron James and Kobe Bryant in the past. According to Olajuwon, the results are going to leave Knicks fans stunned.

For Stoudemire, the opportunity was the first time in his basketball career that he was given a chance to work on his post presence.

Via ESPN New York:

"There are so many moves that I picked up from Hakeem. I mean, just developing my post game has been phenomenal for me. When I came out of high school, I was just thrown the ball and they said, 'Do what you do best.' I never got a chance to develop my game, as far as a post player. So now, with working with Hakeem, it's going to be a great advantage for me."
