2012 Olympic Games: Michael Phelps Gold, Ryan Lochte Silver In Men's 200-Meter IM Final

Michael Phelps won his 20th Olympic medal, winning the gold in the 200-meter Individal Medley at the 2012 Olympic Games in London, England. Ryan Lochte finished in second and won the silver while Hungary's Laszlo Cseh took home the bronze.

This is the third straight gold medal for Phelps in the event, who also took home the gold at Beijing in 2008 and at Athens in 2004. Phelps won with a time of 1:54.27, more than half a second ahead of Lochte who finished with a time of 1:54.90.

Phelps got some revenge on Lochte after the Canandaigua, NY beat Phelps in the 400-meter individual medley earlier in the week. This is the second medal of the day for Lochte, who also took home the bronze medal in the 200-meter backstroke earlier in the day.
