Yankees Vs. Red Sox Preview: Game Time, TV Schedule, Probable Pitchers

The New York Yankees will be looking to win the rubber game of their three-game set against the Boston Red Sox on Sunday night at Yankee Stadium.

Hiroki Kuroda will be on the hill, seeking his 12th win on the campaign. The 37-year-old Japanese import has been a terrific pitcher for New York in 2012, posting a 3.06 ERA.

In Kuroda's last six starts, he's only allowed more than two runs once, which was a outing when he surrendered three against the Detroit Tigers. Perhaps his best appearance of the season was his last, when on Tuesday he pitched a complete game shutout against the vaunted Texas Rangers.

The Red Sox will send Josh Beckett to the mound in an attempt to steal the series. Beckett has had a disastrous season with just a 5-10 record and a 5.19 ERA.

In his last two outings, Beckett has been batted around to the tune of 14 earned runs in 10.1 innings. The last time Beckett faced the Yankees wasn't much better, when he gave up six runs in five frames back on July 6.
