Giants PR director Pat Hanlon tweeted out the list of players who will not play against the Jets at MetLife Stadium on Saturday night. The list includes cornerback Terrell Thomas, who's been hobbled by a right knee issue and has been rehabbing by running in a pool. A list of those who will not dress, via Big Blue View:
Terrell Thomas (knee), Brandon Bing, Michael Coe (hamstring), Jacquain Williams (hip), Michael Boley (hamstring), Will Beatty (back), Shaun Rogers (blood clot -- he is technically still on the roster, before you ask), Marvin Austin (back).
Beatty had a back issue that's bothered him for months creep back up this week, putting him on the shelf for the team's second preseason game. Marcus Thomas, who was signed to replace Shaun Rogers, cannot play under the CBA rules.
In addition to the above list, Hakeem Nicks, who was taken off the PUP list this week, will not play. Chris Canty and Travis Beckum remain on the PUP list.
