Tyler Ennis Decision: Syracuse Awaits Answer From Basketball Recruit

The Syracuse Orange basketball program awaits the expected announcement at 7 p.m. on Thursday of where highly touted recruit Tyler Ennis will play.

Ennis (6-foot-2, 180) from St. Benedict's Prep in New Jersey, is a top-ranked point guard in the class of 2013. He will make his announcement via a video on the website of his AAU team, the Toronto-based CIA Bounce. Ennis is considering Syracuse, as well as Illinois, Louisville, Memphis and UCLA. According to a report, Syracuse is the "frontrunner" among those schools.

Ennis is a Canada native who played for the Canadian junior national team this summer in the FIBA Americas U18 Championships in Brazil. Canada took home the bronze medal after losing in the semifinals to Brazil.
