NFL MVP Odds: Tim Tebow 100-1

Odds to win the 2012 NFL MVP Award were recently released by Bovada, and the most interesting name on the list is the longest shot in Bovada's field -- New York Jets backup quarterback Tim Tebow. Bovada gives the Jets backup 100-1 odds of being the league's MVP. Starter Mark Sanchez? His odds must be longer than that, because Bovada does not even list him.

As for New York Giants quarterback Eli Manning, the two-time Super Bowl MVP checks in at 18-1. There are eight players ahead of Manning, including his brother Peyton (10-1).

Here are a couple of other notes from Bovada's preseason NFL awards odds.

↵

Offensive Rookie of the Year -- David Wilson and Reuben Randle of the Giants are 25-1 to win this one, and Stephen Hill of the Jets is 30-1.

↵

Passing Yards -- Eli Manning is 12-1 to lead the league in passign yards.

↵

Receiving Yards -- Victor Cruz of the Giants is 12-1 and teammate Hakeem Nicks 14-1 to lead the NFL in this category.
