Tebowmania came to Albany on Monday, and from their reactions it did not seem like the defending Super Bowl champion New York Giants were very happy about it. The Giants and New York Jets face off on Saturday (7 p.m. ET) at MetLife Stadium in their annual preseason game. With that as the backdrop, many of the questions asked of head coach Tom Coughlin and his players on Monday dealt with Tim Tebow and the Jets.

Here is how things went Monday during media availability, and Coughlin's meeting with reporters, at UAlbany.

Hey, Justin Tuck, are you eager to see Tebowmania on Saturday?

"I’m just eager to play the game, and fortunately for us it involves Tebow. ... "What I'm worried about is their right tackle, their right guard, their center, their left guard, and their left tackle. That's what I'm facing; quarterbacks are just a bonus."

Justin, what about preparing for the Wildcat offense?

"You've definitely got to prepare for him because he's a dynamic player but there aren't too many things you can do out of the wildcat. It's pretty simple when you think about it."

Justin, how important was beating the Jets last season?

"I don't know. I really don't. ... For me personally, the Jets are just another team that we play. I don't think we have a rivalry with the Jets, I really don't. I know we have some with our division foes but for the Jets it's just another game that we need to win."

Justin, what about ... ?

"That’s where we’re going with this session? Last time I checked I played for the Giants and I’ve only heard one question about the Giants. I really don’t want to talk about the Jets."

Hey, Osi Umenyiora, are you curious about facing Tebow?

"No. I'm just curious on getting better."

Osi, are the Jets really a rival, or are NFC East games bigger?

"The Jets are a good football team, but us playing them, unless it's like a Super Bowl game, it's really not that big of a deal. I think the NFC East is certainly our biggest rivals. The Jets, anytime we play them, is good, because we're in the same city. At the same time, a lot of those guys, we know. We respect them a lot, but as far as rivalry goes, definitely the teams in the NFC East."

So, Mathias Kiwanuka, what do you think of Tebowmania?

"It is what it is. We have a lot of manias over here. We had Tuckmania and Elimania. We’re used to that kind of attention and that kind of fanfare, but for us, it’s just another game.

Coach Coughlin, are you bothered by all the headlines the Jets get?

"No. I'm worried about us. I'm worried about our team. I don't know what's going on, really. I'm trying to keep track of a couple people in our division, but otherwise, we're trying to think about our team."

This is how things went Monday in Albany. They will likely be pretty much the same on Tuesday, the final day of training camp. Thursday and Friday at the Timex Performance Center? It will likely be Jets, Jets, Jets or Tebow, Tebow, Tebow.

The questions, unfortunately for the Giants, have just begun. They are, obviously, already not interested in answering them.
