The New York Yankees (66-46) will take on the Toronto Blue Jays (53-59) Saturday afternoon in Toronto (1:07 p.m. ET, YES), looking to extend their current run of three consecutive victories. New York posted a 10-4 win on Friday behind Ichiro Suzuki's 5 RBI night.
Ivan Nova (10-6 4.81 ERA) will take the hill for New York. Nova is coming off two straight losses, and does not have a winning decision since a July 8 game against the Boston Red Sox. He'll be facing off against, Aaron Laffey (3-2 4.39 ERA), who pitched briefly for New York in the last two months of the 2011 season. The Yankees should be able to give him plenty of support against Laffey. The Toronto left hander has only faced New York once, going 7.2 innings while giving up 10 runs on five hits.
