Day 2 of the 2012 PGA Championship ends with Tiger Woods in a three way tie for first, tied with Vijay Singh and Carl Pettersson. All three men stand at 4-under par. St. John's graduate Keegan Bradley struggled in his second round at the tournament, shooting 5-over to end the day tied for 15th place with and +1 overall.
Singh had the low round of the day, moving into first with a 3-under 69. Woods didn't fare as well as he had on Thursday, posting a 71 after shooting a 69 in Round 1. That was still a good result for the round, and Tiger moved up 16 places to tie for the lead. Pettersson had opened the day at the top of the leaderboard, and judging by his shooting a 74 after Round 1's score of 66, the pressure may have gotten to him.
Bradley failed to find a rhythm all day, shooting bogeys on holes four and five, then landing a string of four bogeys on holes 11 through 14. He managed a birdie on 15, but followed with a bogey on the next hole.
