Team USA Men's Basketball Vs. Argentina Preview: Game Time, TV, Online Streaming

The United States Basketball team look to make it to the gold medal game as they face off against Argentina in the semifinals of the 2012 Olympic Games in London, England Friday afternoon.

The two teams met in the group stage, and after taking a one point lead into halftime the United States pulled away in the second half for a 126-97 victory. New York Knicks forward Carmelo Anthony had five points and five rebounds in the win while Knicks teammate Tyson Chandler had three points and five rebounds and Brooklyn Nets point guard Deron Williams chipped in with five points and five assists.

If the United States want a repeat performance of their group stage victory against the Argentinians, they will have to contain San Antonio Spurs forward Manu Ginobili. Ginobili was able to keep Argentina in the game with his 16 first half points, but Ginobili was held scoreless in the final two quarters and the U.S. were able to pull away for the easy victory.

If the United States win this afternoon, it will take on the winner of Spain and Russia in the gold medal match on Aug 12.
