Marcus Camby Signing: Camby Will Reportedly Go To Knicks As Part Of Sign-And-Trade With Rockets

Houston Rockets free-agent center Marcus Camby, who once was a member of the New York Knicks, is reportedly on his way back to New York as part of a sign-and-trade deal with the Rockets (via Adrian Wojnarowski).

The sign-and-trade reportedly involves New York sending Toney Douglas, Josh Harrellson and Jerome Jordan, second round picks in 2014 and 2015 and cash to Houston. The Knicks will pick up the tab on Douglas' salary with the cash sent to the Rockets.

Camby has reportedly agreed to a three-year, $13.2 million deal with New York, the final year of which involves a partial guarantee (via Adrian Wojnarowski).

Camby, 38, also considered the Miami Heat before choosing New York. The veteran will be the backup center to Tyson Chandler. Last season, between time spent with the Trail Blazers and Rockets, Camby averaged 4.9 points, 9 rebounds, 1.4 blocks in 22.9 minutes.
