NBA Free Agency 2012: Knicks Re-Sign Steve Novak, According To Reports

The New York Knicks appear to be keeping a key part of their front court as Ken Berger of CBS Sports is reporting that the Knicks have re-signed forward Steve Novak to a multi-year contract.

Novak, 29, played in 54 games for the Knicks last season and was a key contributor off of the bench, averaging 8.8 points and 2.0 rebounds per game in an average of 18.9 minutes per game. A 3-point specialist, Novak made a career-high 133 3-pointers last season, making 2.5 per game.

The terms of the deal are being reported at being four years and $15 million. Novak has been in the league for seven seasons and has bounced around quite a bit, playing for four different teams before coming to New York in 2011.
