The Opening Ceremony of the 2012 London Olympics is already in the books, but NBC is airing the event on a tape delay so stateside fans can watch in prime time. The Cauldron has been lit and the Queen has made her appearance, but there's still plenty to see.
The lighting of the Cauldron traditionally goes to a single torchbearer, but the London Games chose to divide the honor among a selection of young athletes in a stunning spectacle. The Parade of Nations will take place, showcasing the latest in Olympic fashion, a performance displayed an overview of British History, and the Queen made her entrance accompanied by 007 and some corgis. Gifs and commentary on all that and more are available at SB Nation's Opening Ceremony live blog.
