Could free-agent center Marcus Camby be interested in putting on a New York Knicks uniform again?
A source told ESPN New York that "Marcus lives in New York in the offseason, and if it works out there, it would be terrific." (via ESPN NY)
Camby, now 38, last played for the Knicks from 1998-2002. Due to his veteran status and past success, he would command a hefty salary.
The source also told ESPN New York that Camby has received interest from several teams but won't make a decision until the weekend at the earliest. One of the other teams Camby reportedly has an interest in is the Miami Heat (via Chris Tomasson). The veteran center believes he can still play another three seasons. Camby averaged 4.9 points, 9 rebounds and 1.4 blocks per game last season between time with the Trail Blazers and Rockets.
