New York Jets Darrelle Revis Doesn't Care What You Think

New York Jets star cornerback Darrelle Revis might hold out -- again -- looking for more money from the New York Jets. And he doesn't care if you don't like it.

"I don't know if you looked at my Twitter," he told Gary Myers of the New York Daily News in reference to his last holdout, two seasons ago.. "I was getting death threats and everything. I'm getting stuff now on Twitter."

↵

Revis signed a front-loaded four-year, $46 million contract after a prolonged 2010 holdout, $32.5 million of which was guaranteed. Revis is making what Myers calls a "below-market" total of $13.5 million the next two years, sinc ehe has already gotten his guaranteed money. Now that he has hit the lower-paying end of the deal, he is considering holding out for a new deal.

↵

Despite the seeming hypocrisy of that, Revis espouses the attitude of the modern athlete when he tells Myers "I'm a corporation, too."

↵

Yep. And do the words 'selfish jerk' also apply?
