NHL Awards 2012: Henrik Lundqvist Finalist For Hart, Vezina Trophies

NHL awards for the 2012 season will be announced Wednesday night

New York Rangers goaltender Henrik Lundqvist is a finalist for both the 2012 Hart Trophy, awarded the NHL Most Valuable Player, and the Vezina Trophy, given to the league's top goaltender for the previous season. Awards will be announced Wednesday night during the 2012 NHL Awards Show (NBC Sports Network, 7 p.m. ET).

Adam Henrique of the New Jersey Devils is among the finalists for the Calder Trophy, given to the league's top rookie. New York Rangers coach John Tortorella is among the finals for the Jack Adams Award, given to the top coach in the league. Matt Moulson of the New York Islanders is a finalist for the Lady Byng Trophy, given for sportsmanship.

Hart Trophy (most valuable player): Henrik Lundqvist (G, New York Rangers), Evgeni Malkin (C, Pittsburgh Penguins), Steven Stamkos (C, Tampa Bay Lightning)

Norris Trophy (top defenseman): Zdeno Chara (Boston Bruins), Erik Karlsson (Ottawa Senators), Shea Weber (Nashville Predators)

Vezina Trophy (top goaltender): Henrik Lundqvist (Rangers), Jonathan Quick (Los Angeles Kings), Pekka Rinne (Predators)

Masterton Trophy (perseverance, dedication): Daniel Alfredsson (RW, Senators), Joffrey Lupul (LW, Toronto Maple Leafs), Max Pacioretty (LW, Montreal Canadiens)

Lady Byng Trophy (sportsmanship): Brian Campbell (D, Florida Panthers), Jordan Eberle (RW, Edmonton Oilers), Matt Moulson (LW, New York Islanders)

Selke Trophy (top defensive forward): David Backes (C, St. Louis Blues), Patrice Bergeron (C, Boston Bruins), Pavel Datsyuk (C, Detroit Red Wings)

Calder Trophy (top rookie): Adam Henrique (C, New Jersey Devils), Gabriel Landeskog (LW, Colorado Avalanche), Ryan Nugent-Hopkins (C, Oilers)

Jack Adams Award (top head coach): Ken Hitchcock (Blues), Paul MacLean (Senators), John Tortorella (Rangers)
