NCAA Lacrosse Tournament 2012: Syracuse Vs Duke, Game Time, TV Schedule And More

After earn the first ever Big East Conference Tournament crown Saturday, the Syracuse Orange men's lacrosse program had to wait until Sunday night to find out its first-round NCAA Tournament opponent. The result? The Duke Blue Devils, who earned the 16-team field's No. 2-overall seed, will host Syracuse on Saturday (noon ET on ESPN).

The winner advance onto the quarterfinals to player either the No. 6 UMass Minutemen or Colgate Raiders the following Sat., May 20, in Annapolis, Md. at the Navy Marine-Corps Memorial Stadium.

Overall, Syracuse is 6-2 all-time against Duke, including a 3-0 record in the NCAA Tournament. The Blue Devils, however, did beat the Orange earlier in the season, 12-10, April 1, in the Big City Classic, which was held in East Rutherford, NJ at MetLife Stadium.

Syracuse is making its 29th NCAA appearance in 30 seasons and will be trying to earn its first National Championship since 2009, while Duke collected a National Title in '10.
