If we've learned one thing from the previous 137 editions of the Kentucky Derby, it's that no long shot should ever truly be counted out.
My Adonis, with current odds of 50-1 to win Saturday's race, is hoping to prove that once again.
Jockey Elvis Trujillo will ride My Adonis on Saturday, and Kelly Breen was charged with training the horse owned by George and Lori Hall.
George Hall, who has had three of his other horses race previously in the Kentucky Derby, is a 1978 graduate of Chaminade High School, located on Long Island in the town of Mineola, New York.
Race coverage is set to begin at 5:00 p.m. EST, and can be seen on NBC Sports Network.
