Within the next 48 hours, a champion will be crowned in the MAAC baseball tournament. Only three teams remain: Manhattan, Rider and Canisius. Saturday's schedule is as follows: Manhattan and Rider will square off at 2 pm EST, with the winner moving on to face Canisius later that day. If necessary, an additional game will be played on Sunday to determine the champion.
Manhattan is the defending champion, but will have some work to do if they're going to repeat. Rider is the tournament's fourth seed, with Canisius – who awaits the winner between Rider and Manhattan – came into the tourney as the number two seed. Canisius will be playing in their first finals in school history.
