The Championship Round of the 2012 MAAC Baseball Tournament takes place beginning Saturday afternoon, starting with a game to determine who will face the Canisius Griffs for the Championship.
The Manhattan College Jaspers will take on the Rider University Broncs at 2:00pm EDT, with the loser being eliminated. Manhattan College is the defending MAAC Baseball Champion, so surely they will have a bit of extra motivation to reach the final.
Whoever wins, they will face Canisius later on Saturday. Canisius beat Rider University to move to the finals for the first time in the history of the program. The first pitch of that game is scheduled for 6:00pm, and if necessary an additional game will follow on Sunday at 1:00pm.
