Atlantic 10 Baseball Tournament 2012: Two Games Kick Off The Action On Wednesday

The 2012 Atlantic 10 Baseball Tournament gets underway Wednesday at Houlihan Park in New York City.

After a whole season of battling it out in the A-10, the campaign has come down to the final six teams vying for a conference championship.

The top two seeds, St. Louis and Dayton respectively, have a first round bye. Meanwhile, third-seeded Rhode Island will take on the sixth seeded St. Joe's Hawks. On the other side of the tourney, it'll be the No. 4 Massachusetts Minutemen against the No. 5 Richmond Spiders.

The Billikens earned top billing in the tournament by sporting a 36-15 record including 16-7 in conference play. The Flyers of Dayton have been absolutely dominant throughout the year, going 25-7 (14-7 in the A-10) on their way to a bye.

UMass and Richmond will kick off the action at 12:00 p.m. ET with St. Joe's and Rhode Island coming soon after at 3:30 p.m. ET.
